Hebron Academy boasts a tight-knit and diverse community. Each year sees around 250 students enrolled, 70% of which are boarding students who live on campus. 40% of students are international students who represent over 20 different nationalities. No need to settle for experiencing just a single new culture – here, you can explore the world through your fellow students! Furthermore, 90% of faculty live on campus as well. This ensures that students’ social, emotional, and academic growth is always supported.

ACADEMICS

Furthermore, the small average class size of 8-10 students ensures a personal and stimulating bond between teachers and students.

In addition to the standard courses, Hebron further offers thirteen Advanced Placement courses as well as fifteen Honors courses covering a broad range of subjects within the humanities and arts, STEM, and social sciences.Â
UNIQUE PROGRAMS
Hebron offers four distinct Signature Programs encouraging both academic and social development. The Words Program develops public speaking skills; the EDIE Pathway offer an interdisciplinary curriculum covering Engineering, Design, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship; the LIFE Program promotes social skills, discipline, and self-awareness through the boarding experience and experiential learning. Finally, as a member of Round Square, Hebron Academy is part of a global network of over 200 innovative schools in 50 countries.
On average, 75% of Hebron Academy international graduates are accepted to Top 30 Universities and Liberal Arts Colleges in the U.S., including Dartmouth, Harvard, George Washington University, Boston University, and University of California Berkeley.Â
THE BOARDING EXPERIENCE
The boarding program is a cornerstone of the Hebron experience, which encourages mutual respect, self-discipline, personal responsibility, goal setting, conflict resolution, and time management, among others.

Do you love nature? Enjoy beautiful Southern Maine and the miles of trails and single tracks for running, mountain biking, hiking, snowshoeing, and Nordic skiing. The campus surroundings also have three ponds for fishing, canoeing, and aquatic ecosystem research. If skiing is your thing, take advantage of the school-planned day trips to the different nearby ski resorts.
